The first Saturday of the college football season is just getting going, and already we have two unranked teams beating two ranked teams.East Carolina beat No. 17 Virginia Tech, 27-22, in a great game with a great ending, as the Pirates scored a touchdown on a blocked punt with less than two minutes left. Virginia Tech quarterback Sean Glennon was terrible, calling into question Frank Beamer’s decision to make Glennon his starter.Meanwhile, No. 25 Pittsburgh has lost to Bowling Green, 27-17.

Wanndstedt really is a terrible coach. Nice guy. Great recruiter. Awful Coach. Pitt will never play to their potential with him on the sidelines.
I had both of these upsets. Sheehan is a damn fine QB
MDS- did you hear that Tyrod Taylor’s dad actually requested that his song redshirt? That is what I heard…which would contradict any Beamer decision. Then again, if this were true, it would be an embarrassment for the VT program. As if losing to ECU isn’t bad enough.
