No doubt Jags will land on his feet but who in the hell is B.C. going to convince to come there now? Someone who has no problem with staying there 10 years -- assuming you win and they keep you. Bad move. I'm a manager and it always makes you look good when your people move onto to better jobs when you start looking for the next person.

Hey I didn't know that BC was an elite college football program; DeFilippo sounds way too impressed with himself & the BC football program. Also, Jagodzinski was Favre's QB coach in GB for Lord Brett's stellar 2007 season. You don't think that Favre is behind the scenes, pulling the strings on this one? If the Jets land Jago, Favre is coming back again (with some drama still to come of course).

Wow, this DeFilippo guy is a genuis. First you refuse to upgrade the pay of your current Coach (tom O'brian) from 650k to 1.0 mil a year. Obrian had only coached the team to 8 straight winning seasons and three 9-3 seasons while upgrading the talent, but DeFilippo was wise enough to know that Obrian was overrated and wouldn't do well elsewhere and let him go while then hiring a new coach for the amount he could have kept Obrian for, because that makes a lot of sense. And now DeFilippo has shown his wisdom by firing the current coach because we all know that the line to coach BC is long and full of great men.
Good God, I could be the A.D. for this team and I wouldn't ask for half his pay. I mean being a dumb ass must pay well, first on Wall street and now in college. I wish him luck with Logan, because that man did wonders at ECU when he refused to accept walk on talent (he believed that if you weren't offered a scholarship you weren't good enough to play), and coached them into the ground. This is the most pathetic thing I ever heard. DeFillipo should start looking for a new job soon, because once BC drops to 4 wins a year the Alumni should run him out of the ground.

Jags worked for Jimmy Jr. in the ATL so this would not be too sruprising. Honestly if he wants to eventually run a pro team, being the OC in Seattle is probably a better route than coaching a decent program in a basketball first conference.
