TWO-TIME ALL-AMERICAN STILL A REBEL

After nearly a month of speculation, defensive end Greg Hardy has finally made his decision, and it’s very good news for fans of the Ole Miss football program.According to the Biloxi Sun-Herald, Hardy has decided to forego the NFL and stay at Mississippi.”I’m excited to return for my senior year and look forward to helping our team build on the success we enjoyed this season,” Hardy said in a statement. “Professional football is a goal every college player strives to reach, but I feel it is in my best interest to return to school. My parents support my decision, and I know my mom wants me to graduate from Ole Miss.”The 6-4, 265-pound end, who had 8.5 sacks in nine games last season, is viewed as a first-round talent who could’ve seen his draft stock slide due to injury concerns. If Hardy can stay healthy next season, and that’s a very big “if”, he could very well end up as a top-20 player given his talent and athletic ability.
