Mizzou QB Gets Suspension Lifted

Last month, heralded Missouri quarterback Blaine Dalton was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and suspended indefinitely from the football program. While his legal situation is still in a state of flux, his off-the-field issues have taken a turn for the better as the QB has been taken off suspension and is eligible to return working out with the team, the Kansas City Star is reporting. The lifting of the suspension, though, could be a hint that his legal issues could be resolved in the not-too-distant future.Dalton’s father claims that the incident has been blown way out of proportion; shortly after the incident, a former high school teammate of Dalton’s claimed the prescription was his and that he had accidentally left it in Dalton’s vehicle when he visited the QB.All Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel would say is that Dalton “is back” with the team.
