Ex-Rutgers QB Hart Also Files Suit Against EA Sports

Former Rutgers quarterback Ryan Hart has filed suit against EA Sports for using his likeness in their videogame. He is joined in the lawsuit by Troy Taylor who played quarterback for the Cal Bears back in the late 1980s, and is currently the radio analyst for Cal football.

Hart’s lawsuit has been filed separately than that of former ASU and Nebraska quarterback Sam Keller‘s, who first sued EA for unathorized use of his likeness in the popular videogame series. EA Sports’ NCAA College Football doesn’t name the players in the game, only lists a jersey number, physical attributes and skill-set that often coincide with the actual player on the college roster.

No word on whether other mediocre quarterbacks will be filing suit, calls out to Anthony Morrelli, George Godsey, Jammal Lord, and Asad Abdul-Khaliq were unreturned.
