According to the Mobile Press-Register, and citing a source close to the situation, cornerback Alonzo Lawrence is "exploring his options" when it comes to remaining with the Tide or transferring.
Lawrence is still enrolled in school, but will meet with members of the coaching staff this week to discuss his future and/or options.
On Wednesday, wide receiver Chris Jackson was granted permission to talk to other schools about a transfer; the following day, linebacker Brandon Fanney was granted the same permission.
This couldn't have anything to do with Coach Woodcock & Company attempting to get down to the 85-man limit, could it?
