Seriously. He was asked. In a public setting.
Tebow, ever the gentleman despite the over-exposure criticism he receives, chuckled and answered in the affirmative that, yes, he is still a virgin at the age of 21.
That's not exactly the story here, though; it's long been rumored that Tebow's never dipped his pen in company ink, so to speak.
The story is the fact that the question was even asked in the first place.
What the hell? Honestly.
No, seriously. What the hell?
I'm not exactly the epitome of class -- hell, I subscribed to Sirius because of Stern -- but, c'mon. Even I know there was a line crossed there. A line that's there for a reason, and is seemingly becoming more and more blurred the further down this 'net rabbit hole we get.
One Stuttering John or Borat is fine, maybe even necessary. But an Internet full of people of people with absolutely no respect for anyone or anything?
That's not anything anyone should want or wish for.
Even if the object of the asinine question laughs it off.
Agreed. This is the TMZ world. Anything goes. I blame it on Rupert Murdoch and his goons.
Now I know that a lot of people have Tebow fatigue and can't stand all the attention he gets, and I'm not personally into the whole Super-Christian thing that he is...but watching him play football they way he does is simply incredible, and he's certainly got a lot of admirable character for guy his age.
That reporter is a complete slimeball. Can you imagine how much shit Tebow's gonna get from opposing teams and fans for this? I'm with you, John and Skinny P, this is unbelievable.
Thankfully the follow-up question was not, "Have you ever masturbated?"
