Update: Robinson still MIA from Cowboys practice

For the fourth straight day, Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson was held out of practice due to a leg injury, the Daily Oklahoman is reporting.

Additionally, and possibly a little worrisome, Robinson will be held out for the foreseeable future as he deals with a hamstring issue that’s lingered longer than most expected.

He’s doing better,” head coach Mike Gundy said. “We probably won’t work him out until after the scrimmage (on Saturday). One reason is we want to make sure he’s up and running when he gets back. The No. 2 (reason) is this is good teaching and learning experience for these other guys.”

The “other guys” Gundy refers two are Brandon Weeden and Alex Cate, who are battling it out for the right to be Gundy’s caddy.

Or actually swing the club on the course if Robinson’s minor tweak lingers longer than expected.
