Hoosiers suspend a pair

Junior defensive tackle Deonte Mack and redshirt sophomore linebacker Ian Reeves have been suspended for Indiana’s season opener Thursday against Western Eastern Kentucky, the school announced in a press release.

The pair received the one-game suspension for violating unspecified team rules.

While neither were listed on the Hoosiers’ latest depth chart, Mack played in 11 games last season and had two sacks.

Reeves played in 10 games in 2008, seeing most of his action on special teams.  The LB also started Indiana’s game against Illinois at fullback.
