Kentucky head coach Rich Brooks has suspended true freshman linebacker Ridge Wilson, the Lexington Herald-Leader is reporting.
Wilson was suspended for violating team rules and will miss this Saturday’s rivalry game with Louisville. The suspension will be a particularly tough pill for Wilson to swallow as he attended high school in the city.
After being held out of all team-related activities this week, Brooks will reevaluate Wilson’s status following the Louisville game.
The LB was one of five true freshman to play in UK’s season-opening win over Miami of Ohio.
