While a Notre Dame-Michigan game is never a given, Fighting Irish fans (and I’m sure Lou Holtz) all expected to walk out of the Big House with a victory over the Wolverines.
The same goes without saying for Michigan State, who saw Central Michigan quarterback Dan LeFevour light up the Spartans and pull a shocking upset win.
