Tebow, other Gators sick, but not with the flu

According to ESPN.com‘s Chris Low, and citing unnamed sources, Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, safety Major Wright and cornerback Joe Haden are suffering from a respiratory-related illness and not the flu as has been previously been reported.

The report did offer further confirmation that the three, along with other unnamed players, took a separate flight to Kentucky for the game against the Wildcats.

Low also reports that the players are with their teammates at the team hotel, and that Florida officials are optimistic all will be able to play today.

Update: The Florida Times-Union is also reporting that Tebow is suffering from a respiratory illness.

    Hey “dsmith4444″
Way to use our language. Nice spelling as well.
Can the media blow Tebow any more than they already do? Here’s hoping for serious injury!

Tebow can not be sick JESUS CHRIST Tebow’s lord and personal savior would not allow it. Jesus told him to fake it.

    Hey NAACPNOFRIENDOMINE
You don’t mind if I wish a long painful death to your family, do you!?
Maybe we should also hope that every member of the media dies in a plane crash, if they were so ignorant to write something about someone that did something good.
You must be a nole, or someone else that has years of hatred stored up because your life and your team, whoever they are, SUCKS!!!

Gators are planning to almost lose to Kentucky today? Good thing Urban is building up his excuses ahead of time this time, so Kiffen can’t crack on him about it quite so bad next week.
What kind of name is Urban anyway? What, were “Industrial” and “Metropolitan” already taken?

  10. Patches O'Houlahan says: Sep 26, 2009 5:31 PM

    Hey “dsmith4444″
I was just stating the Urban has another built in excuse like he used last week when his over rated team did not blow U.T. out like they expected.
I don’t live in either state and not a fan of either team, so to you I say: SUCK IT!
    Love,
    Patches

Gators will go undefeated and Tebow will get his second H-Trophy. If I’m wrong, John Taylor will wear a Bengals jersey.

“Gators will go undefeated and Tebow will get his second H-Trophy. If I’m wrong, John Taylor will wear a Bengals jersey.”
OK, how’d I get drawn into this with that kind of threat?
That’s funny and wrong on so many levels all at the same time.
