Ankle aggravated, Boom back out for Bucks

Daniel “Boom” Herron‘s return to the playing field lasted all of one game as the Ohio State running back has been ruled out of this weekend’s game with Purdue.

Herron suffered a high ankle sprain on Sept. 26 against Illinois, and missed the following game. He returned last weekend in the win over Wisconsin, but aggravated the injury during the second quarter and didn’t return.

The Columbus Dispatch writes that Herron could be out for a couple of weeks because of the setback.

As was the case after the initial injury, Brandon Saine will start at RB for the No. 7 Buckeyes.
