Since Sam Bradford re-injured his throwing shoulder this past weekend, all people have really wanted to talk about was what his plans for the future, both immediately and off in the distance, would entail.
Specifically, they want to know whether he’s played his last game in a Sooners uniform this season and if he will be moving on to the money-green pastures of the NFL next year.
Head coach Bob Stoops today said Bradford will address the media Wednesday about his latest injury issue and presumably, according to Tulsa World, his NFL future.
Stoops talked about Bradford addressing “what the plan will be” in regards to any future plans that may have been finalized.
“He understands the process,” Stoops said. “It’s not like Sam doesn’t have guidance or doesn’t understand the whole thing. In the end, he’ll have an idea and a plan, along with his family, on what he feels is the right track to take. He’ll be able to answer that when he has an idea of what he wants to do.”
Stoops refused to speculate on whether Bradford will announce tomorrow his intentions to enter the 2010 draft.
“I’m not gonna speculate on that,” Stoops said. “I think in the end, he can address those issues.”
Bradford will announce tomorrow his intentions to enter the 2010 draft.
