Dez non-committal on NFL leap

Since word broke late yesterday evening that Dez Bryant had been suspended for the remainder of the 2009 season, it's been a widely assumed that the Oklahoma State receiver would give up his final season of eligibility and make himself available for the 2010 draft.

Speaking to ESPN Dallas.com by way of the Daily Oklahoman, Bryant said he has made no decision on what his future will or won't entail.

(Writer's note: chuckle.  Yeah, OK.)

"Just doing my normal routine," Bryant said when asked about his future. "I'm going to get up and go to practice, like I'm supposed to with my team. I'm going to support my team. Go to class, continue to do my work and move forward.

"As of right now, I'm just thinking about what's going on right now. That's what I'm focused on. I'm just going to let that all take care of itself. God has the best decision for me."

As for the "get and go go to practice" portion of his non-answer answer, the Tulsa World has a slightly different twist on what exactly is going on with Bryant and his team these days.

Bryant made reference to attending Cowboy practices, but he was in DeSoto, Texas, on Tuesday, and sources indicate that during his suspension, his attendance at OSU practice sessions has been sporadic.

Regardless of what Bryant's saying now, it would be absolutely stunning if Bryant came back to Stillwater for another season.  So stunning, in fact, that it simply will not happen.

I think.

How's that for being equivocal?

I wonder how his attendance at his OSU classes has been like...?
They do require that there, don't they?
