Today, we get the reaction from their now-former teammates. And, suffice to say, it's not going over very well.
"You don't want guys to jump ship before the ship's even landed," junior defensive end Alex Albright said.
Said safety Marcellus Bowman, "There's only one ball on offense. I can understand why Haden would want to transfer. I could understand why Tuggle would want to transfer. Do I agree with it being in the middle of the season? Not necessarily."
With two QB recruits coming in next season, and as he's currently buried third on the depth chart after starting the season as the starter, Tuggle's decision to transfer is hardly a head-scratcher. However, Haden's decision to move on, given where he was residing on the depth chart, has perplexed his teammates.
"Josh has done well here and he's one play away from being the starter," Albright said. "Heaven forbid if Montel [Harris] would ever get hurt, Josh would be the next in line."
Albright also seemed to indicate that Haden could very well land in Gainesville. The RB's brother, Joe, is an All-American cornerback at Florida, while his younger brother Jordan is a Gator commit.
