Tebow, Gators make a statement

It was only a matter of time before Florida took out their middle-of-the-season scoring frustrations on someone.

Unfortunately for Georgia, they became that someone this evening.

Tim Tebow resuscitated his Heisman candidacy with four touchdowns -- two rushing, two passing -- Brandon Spikes returned an interception for a touchdown, and the Gators cruised to an easy 41-17 win over the Bulldogs that wasn't nearly as close as the 24-point margin would indicate.

It was the Gators' highest point total since a Sept. 26 win over Kentucky.

Tebow finished a very efficient 15-of-21 passing for 164 yards.  he also carried the ball 18 times for another 84 yards against the woeful Dawg defense.

With Alabama off this weekend, UF will no doubt further solidify themselves atop all of the major polls and, more importantly, the BcS rankings.

Get off the TeBLOW bandwagon. Plenty of QBs had better games....just look at the Housten QB..........the media is behind TeBLOW and the Heisman is a popularity contest not an award to the best college football player....Georgia is unranked...Oregon stuck to the number 4 ranked team by Florida's illustrious BCS ranking, and hung 40 points and 600 yards against them.......Tebow only does that against the likes of Troy and Charleston.......and he has a crack at Florida International yet to pad his stats. He does nothing against good teams.....

Tebow is an ego-maniac that needs top have the ball......he is the white man's TO.

    Woodman:

I'm sure other quarterbacks did have better games! Sports history is littered with athletes who had better individual games; Chamberlein over Russell, Bird over Johnson and I'm sure quarterbacks had better games than Montana.

Listen closely & get your lesson for the day little man....sports history only remembers winners....3 championships in 4 years & unsurpassed leadership secures Tebow's place in the pantheon of college football history.

He will be remembered long after YOUR gone and forgotten.....sucks for you huh......
