While it was certainly good news for Zac Etheridge that he had movement in all of his extremities following a collision with a teammate, the prognosis for the rest of his 2009 season is not as good.
According to the Birmingham News, the Auburn safety will miss the remainder of the 2009 season with a neck injury.
Head coach Gene Chizik said this afternoon that they are “very hopeful for a full recovery”.
The News reported that a picture on Etheridge’s Facebook page showed the DB wearing a neck brace.
