If that's going to happen, it'll have to occur at some point later this evening as head coach Chip Kelly told the media this afternoon that there is nothing new to report on regarding Blount's situation.
"When we have an announcement, we'll make it,'' Kelly said. "Nothing's really changed right now."
According to The Oregonian, Blount did his usual work with the scout team today, but also "did do some extra, post-practice conditioning with running backs coach Gary Campbell."
A sign of an imminent reinstatement, perhaps? If it is, it likely won't be announced until tomorrow, at the earliest.
