Charlie Weis delivered the official news this morning that Michael Floyd will be returning to action this weekend after missing six weeks with a broken collarbone.
While Golden Tate has been putting up monster numbers in Floyd’s absence, the sophomore receiver was putting up down-right ridiculous stats in his first three games, averaging over 27 yards a catch and scoring five touchdowns on his 13 receptions.
Jimmy Clausen and the Notre Dame offense continued to put up solid numbers in Floyd’s absence, but over at the Inside the Irish blog, we took a closer look at what Floyd meant to the offense, and how much he’s truly meant to the team in his short time wearing an Irish uniform.
hands down.. we had floyd all year we would be in the top 10 and undefeated
LMAO – The Cryers would have 1 win if it weren’t for luck, laydowns and a stupid coach taking a timeout only a DUMBA$$ would call.
When is the ND defense going to show up in a game that is not against a 1-AA opponent? Scoring 30 or more is great; getting cancelled out by giving up that same 30 is why the Irish contiune to matter only in their own minds as kings of the Independents.
