Since then, aside from one play in the past weekend's game, he was been MIA from the playing field. Additionally, he's been MIA when it comes to talking to the media.
Until now.
Hunter finally opened up to reporters who cover the team yesterday, telling them that the injury and subsequent inaction has been a frustrating thing to deal with.
"It's a frustrating thing, but everything happens for a reason," Hunter said.
"When it first happened, I felt like it was sprained pretty bad. It's an injury you have to fight through. It hurts not to be out there, but I see my teammates improving and playing good."
Although the team has not discussed the specific nature of Hunter's injury, Tulsa World is reporting that it may be ankle sprain and a hairline fracture in his right foot.
Even though he has been medically cleared, he's still attempting to deal with the pain that comes with making football moves. As it was last week, his availability for this weekend's game will likely not be determined until Saturday.
