One-time Rebel starter suspended for rest of '09

Rishaw Johnson started four games at right guard for Ole Miss earlier this season, but had been relegated of late to backup duty along the line.

Now, the sophomore has been relegated to the suspended list.

According to the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, head coach Houston Nutt has suspended Johnson for the remainder of the 2009 season for breaking unspecified team rules.  Nutt gave a hint as to what the issues may be as he said Johnson will remain with the team so he can concentrate on his schoolwork.

Brandon Green had replaced Johnson in the starting lineup, and there's no word yet on who will replace the lineman in the No. 2 guard hole.
