Locker good to go for Saturday

While there was some question earlier in the week, there's no doubt now.  Jake Locker will be on the field for Washington when they taken on UCLA.

Locker, who stated at the beginning of the week that he would be ready, suffered a deep thigh bruise in the loss to Oregon Oct. 24.  He missed three practices leading up to last weekend's bye, but returned Sunday and has seen his workload increase throughout the week.

Now, the man who had doubts about his QB's availability says he expects to see Locker under center based on the progress he's made.

"He ran really well," head coach Steve Sarkisian said. "I was really, really impressed. He was a little sore earlier today from yesterday's practice, but he looked good today. I expect him to play.

"I wanted to see him run full speed. I wanted to see him really open up and go full speed, and he was able to do that."
