Arkansas high school running back Michael Dyer has given a verbal commitment to play for Auburn next year, the Birmingham News is reporting.
The 5-8, 201-pound Dyer is the top-rated running back in the nation according to several scouting services.
Dyer’s 7,566 career yards are the most in the history of Arkansas high school football.
The Little Rock Christian product opted for the Tigers over, among others, Tennessee, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Alabama.
Wonderful…now he can play in total obscurity.
