Injury KOs Terps QB

Maryland starting quarterback Chris Turner suffered an injury to his left leg in the first half and did not return to the game, the Washington Post is reporting.

Turner suffered the injury to his knee with 4 1/2 minutes left in the second quarter when he was high-lowed by a pair of North Carolina State defenders.

After being examined in the locker room, Turner returned to the sidelines sans uniform.

Turner was replaced under center by Jamarr Robinson.

With just over three minutes remaining in the game, the Terrapins are trailing the Wolfpack 38-31.
