Just as the “Days Without An Arrest” clock was inching perilously close to double digits, it’ll now be reset to double zeros.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Wisconsin wide receiver Maurice Moore was arrested early this morning for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
Moore, the Journal Sentinel reports, was involved in an accident prior to his arrest. He suffered minor injuries in the wreck.
It’s uncertain at this time whether Moore will be suspended for the off-field incident, but a school spokesman told the paper that head coach Bret Bielema is aware of the arrest and will address the media tomorrow.
