'Cuse loses two to season-ending injuries

Via a press release, Syracuse has announced that strong safety Max Suter and tight end Cody Catalina will miss the final three games of the 2009 season due to injuries suffered in the contest at Pittsburgh.

Suter suffered a left radius fracture in the loss to the Panthers.  The two-year starter underwent surgery this morning to repair the damage.

Catalina sustained a right knee injury, and will undergo surgery at some point in the near future.  Catalina was in his first year as a tight end after coming to the Orange as a quarterback.

This season, Catalina had 13 receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown.  He had caught a pass in six straight games.
