Ponder separates shoulder in FSU loss

Not only did Florida State lose to Clemson and officially take themselves out of ACC title contention, they might have lost their starting quarterback for a significant period of time.

Christian Ponder suffered a separated shoulder late in the fourth quarter of the loss to Clemson.  The junior injured the shoulder attempting to make a tackle after throwing his fourth interception of the game.

Redshirt freshman E.J. Manuel told the Orlando Sentinel after the game that he expects to start next weekend's game against Wake Forest.
