Mystery solved: Collaros to start for Bearcats

Saying that Tony Pike ''is not there yet'' in terms of recovering from injury, head coach Brian Kelly announced that Zach Collaros will start at quarterback this Friday night.

Kelly made the announcement on radio station WBEN this morning.

Pike has missed the last three games with a forearm injury that required a surgical procedure to fix.

Collaros as played well in place of Pike, but Kelly -- after a bit of reflection -- announced yesterday that the senior is his starter when ''fully healthy''.

    anyone heard anything about Devine's sprained ankle? Is he supposed to play?
