Sooners lose yet another to season-ending injury

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before…

One day after losing two starters, Oklahoma has lost yet another player who has started this year to a season-ending injury.

According to Tulsa World, offensive lineman Jarvis Jones as a fractured heel and is done for the rest of the year.

Jones, a transfer out of LSU, has started six games this season but was the backup in the loss to Nebraska.

Jones becomes at least the seventh key contributor to o down with a season-ending injury, and 2009 has officially become one of those years that Bob Stoops and his entire football program just files away and forgets.
