Earlier today, we noted that Arizona State head coach Dennis Erickson had indefinitely suspended cornerback Terrell Carr for violating unspecified team rules.
Now, thanks to the East Valley Tribune, we know why.
Carr was arrested Tuesday on three misdemeanor charges — disorderly conduct for fighting, assault and driving with a suspended license.
As offices are closed for the Veteran’s Day holiday, details of what prompted Carr’s arrest are not yet available.
Carr had started seven games this season, and had a team-high six passes defensed.
