Ingram looking Heisman strong

Two of the more noted Heisman prognosticators have released their latest projections for this year's race, and it's looking more and more like Alabama may just get the first Heisman in the school's long and storied history.

According to both HeismanPundit.com and the Scripps Howard News Service, Tide running back Mark Ingram is leading the voting of select Heisman voters.

In the former, Ingram has a substantial lead over Houston quarterback Case Keenum, while the back has a narrow lead over Keenum in the latter.

Texas quarterback Colt McCoy and Florida quarterback Tim Tebow are third and fourth in the HeismanPundit rankings, while they flip spots in the Scripps Howard polling.

Now, as for my Heisman rankings?

Same as last week:

1.) Ndamukong Suh - DT, Nebraska
2.) Keenum
3.) Ingram
4.) Eric Berry - S, Tennessee
5.) McCoy

And I'll say this again this week. If you want to put a defender up there then you ought to include Rolando McLain or even Javier Arenas. He is a CB and leads the SEC in most tackles for loss per game. He also is the top returner in the SEC.

I thought when your team loses at home to Iowa State you become ineligible for the Heisman?
