Well, so much for boasting about zero arrests in 11 months.
Since that boast, news has broken that four members of Tennessee’s vaunted 2009 recruiting class have been arrested in the month of November. Of course, you’re well aware of the first three to be popped.
According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, the latest — but technically the first — Volunteer freshman to be arrested is defensive back Nyshier Oliver.
The DB was arrested on Nov. 7 for theft by shoplifting, just hours before Tennessee’s game with Memphis.
The 18-year-old Oliver has played in one game this season.
Pretty good hit rate on criminal recruits in his first year!
Gators fans are absurd.
Urban Meyer: 4 yrs/30 arrests (9 being felonies)
you of all people should STFU.
throwtoheath, yawn, go back to sleep. This isn’t about Meyer, but it is about Kiffy.
I think throwtoheatch is asking, to who should Kiffin be compared to in regards to issues with players…What program hasnt had its young players have run in with the law?
I think he brought up the numbers of Meyer’s players’ arrest to show that everyone’s team has its troubles.
In other words, dont throw rocks if you live in a glass house.
Yes, but Kiffy tossed the first rock at the glass house by stating that his team had a clean record….knowing full well that wasn’t the case. None of this would be an issue if Kiffy hadn’t painted a bulls eye on his head.
UT isn’t winning and isn’t a threat to play in a major bowl game, so no one would care if Kiffy would just shut up.
UF is and has been under the microscope, rightfully so, because they have won 2 of the last 3 BCS titles.
Has it gotten to the point that we can’t laugh at Kiffy?
