Court dates set for arrested Vols

Tennessee safety — for now — Janzen Jackson has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Monday, Nov. 23, the Knoxville News Sentinel is reporting.

Jackson is the only one of the three Volunteers charged with attempted armed robbery still with the program.  The defensive back, however, has been barred from all activities until more information is obtained by head coach Lane Kiffin.

One of the two who was booted from the team shortly after the arrests — Nu’Keese Richardson — will have his preliminary hearing the same day as Jackson.

The third player arrested in following incident outside of a Knoxville convenience store late last week — Mike Edwards — is scheduled for arraignment this Friday.
