As if it matters, at least for this week, running back Emmanuel Moody will miss this Saturday’s game with Florida International due to injury.
Moody, who suffered an ankle injury in the win over South Carolina last weekend, was officially ruled out by Urban Meyer Thursday. As the No. 1 Gators are facing a 3-7 Sun Belt conference foe, discretion is indeed the better part of valor, especially with an epic SEC championship game looming on the horizon.
The junior back’s 364 yards rushing are fourth on the team this season.
