Unga may have to wait a week to make history

On the doorstep of becoming BYU’s all-time leading rusher, running back Harvey Unga may have to wait one more week to create some Provo history, the Deseret News is reporting.

Unga is suffering from a sprained ankle and has been wearing a protective boot throughout the week.  Unga’s availability will be a game-time decision.

According to the News, head coach Bronco Mendenhall has a policy that players must practice on Thursdays in order to play on Saturdays; according to a school spokesperson, the back participated in the practice that was closed to the media.

Curtis Brown is the school’s career rushing leader with 3,221 yards.  Unga currently stands at 3,201
