Longhorns' RB merry-go-round continues to spin

For what seems like the 22nd time this season, Texas will make a change to their starter at running back.

And, for the third time, that starter will be Tre' Newton.

Head coach Mack Brown announced today that Newton will get the nod for Thursday's Turkey Day game against Texas A&M.

"If a play came up we want to go with Cody (Johnson), we will," Brown said. "But Tre' will get the start.

"Tre's got great vision and burst of speed. He can get from here to there really fast. And he moves the pile."

Newton leads Texas with 370 yards rushing and 5.5 yards per carry.  The freshman also has five touchdowns, second on the team to Johnson's 12.
