FSU's best lineman still likely sidelined

For the second weekend in a row, Florida State will likely be without the services of their best offensive lineman.

Head coach Bobby Bowden did not sound optimistic that starting guard Rodney Hudson would be healed enough from a knee injury to be able to take the field against in-state rival Florida this weekend.

I don’t think his leg’s gonna be ready,” Bowden said. “I think we’re gonna hope to get him back for a bowl.”

Brandon Davis started in place of Hudson in the win over Maryland, and is expected to do the same against the Gators.
