Likely no A.J. for Dawgs yet again

The status of Georgia's A.J. Green is up in the air again this week as the All-World receiver is attempting to shake off the effects of a shoulder injury.

Green suffered the injury in the second quarter of the win over Auburn Nov. 14, and sat out last weekend's loss to Kentucky.

Head coach Mark Richt seemed to indicate that the school would know one way or the other by Thursday whether Green will be available for the Georgia Tech game.

"Right now, he's still working on the strength and getting the soreness out," Richt said according to the Athens Banner-Herald. "He doesn't have full range of motion right now. Sometimes those things can change.

"We may know sooner that he's out if he can't do anything at all, if he couldn't have a full range of motion and run full speed and feel comfortable and confident by Thursday."

Even given the fact that he's missed nearly three full games because of injury -- and the fact that he has Joe Cox as his quarterback -- Green is still one of the top receivers in the SEC with 47 catches and 751 yards.
