PFT: Weis cleans out office

Another day — hell, another hour — and we have yet another sign that the Charlie Weis’ tenure at Notre Dame is on it’s last legs.

According to a lil’ ol’ website you may or may not have heard of, the current Irish coach has cleaned out his office in anticipation of his expected trek to the coaching gallows.

As noted by PFT‘s Mike Florio, Weis will return to South Bend immediately after the Stanford game as a scheduled West Coast recruiting trip that included the coach has been nixed.

It should also be noted that Weis will return to Indiana with a 45-38 loss to the Cardinal, dropping the Irish to 6-6 on the season and serving as the final nail in his Golden Dome coffin.

Oh yeah, on a non-Irish note, that Toby Gerhart is one helluva football player.  The Stanford back rushed for 205 yards and scored three touchdowns in the win, further cementing himself in the debate as to just who should receive a ticket to New York City for the Heisman ceremony.

He also threw for a touchdown, and the three rushing scores give him 26 on the season.

Heisman candidate?  Uhhh, yeah.

Finally… Gerhart has now been seen on national television twice… against USC and UND. What did he do in those games? I’ll let you google it if you don’t know already.

Got to love that Notre Dame tackling. Gerhart made mincemeat of that defense.
Harbaugh outcoached Weis tonight, even though it took awhile before they finally played tight coverage on Golden Tate.
Weis is responsible for the D’s demise. Looks like he’s already going to be sleeping with the fishes, so to speak.

john taylor, mike florio, and cft and pft,
more wire fraud for civil rico purposes.
even if charlie and his staff do leave notre dame, nothing can save ant of you you con artists from us in the civil courts.
we warned you many times and we have everything printed out, even the things you think that you deleted and destroyed.
before mike florio and you other jerks conned msnbc and nbc sports into these deals. you people already had built up a long trail of dishonesty. we have that evidence also.
unless you try brazil, which will not protect you from us, we will enjoy taking each of you down in the civil courts.

Toby’s great, but 200 yards in one game against a 6-6 Irish doesn’t get you the Heisman. If you want to do a reality check, McCoy rushed for 175 Thursday against a team with the same record. Only difference is McCoy is the QB and also threw for 306 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Oh yeah, his team is 12-0

No doubt. Toby might be given a finalist invite to NY but Colt is the clear leader right now. He should have won last year I think.

robertg – the answer for your problem with cft/pft is simple – stop reading and posting in this forum.
Every time you post you show the world how far off of your meds you really are. You also sound more and more like the unibomber.
Good thing Irish football is over for the year, now you can focus your “idiocracy” on Noter Dame swimming and lacrosse on those blogs.

Who’s “we”? I’ve never been to law school, but even I know that you have to be considered an injured party to bring suit against someone. As much as losing Weis as your HC burns your behind, being a ND fan is not considered proper standing to bring any kind of litigation against anyone for Weis’ termination. Besides, you’d have to prove that what they or anyone else has spoken or written was knowingly false and intended to damage someone’s reputation to even have a chance at winning a judgment–which is not nearly as easy as watching Court TV would have you believe.
So put away your Perry Mason routine and save it for something more appropriate–like perhaps suing ND for a refund of your tickets for the last three disappointing seasons. At least the judge would give you a chance to make your case on that one.

    RE: Robertg
As I started reading this blog I thought what is this idiiot (Robertg) talking about. This makes no sense at all. Glad to see that I was not the only one thinking he is out to lunch.

The “we” robertg is referring to is himself and the three others that live in his head. Definitely a few fries short of a happy meal.

From a USC lifetime fan . Notre Dame keep Weis and hire the best defensive coordinator money can buy . There is nothing wrong with the offense side at Notre Dame . The defense has been crummy and who can figure why ? The recruit’s Notre Dame gets should be able to do the job , but obviously defense has not been a priority for the Irish .
Jimmy Clausen this and Golden Tate that , but can anybody outside Indiana name a ND defensive player ( Parents not eligible ) ?
