With the end of the regular season now fully in our rear view mirror, it’s officially open season on speculating about the collegiate future of underclassmen eligible for the April draft.
One of those talented players is Southern Cal wide receiver Damian Williams.
The junior leads the Trojans in receptions (58), yards (821) and touchdowns (6), and has been the subject of rumors regarding his future in SoCal. ESPN’s strikingly coiffed one, Mel Kiper, has Williams rated as the No. 3 junior receiver in the country.
While Williams may have an idea which way he will go, he’s not letting on publicly which way he is or isn’t leaning.
“I don’t want to talk about it right now,” Williams said. “I haven’t thought about it.”
The deadline for eligible underclassmen to declare for the draft is January 15.
