Strong chance Louisville has tapped new coach

For the better part of a week, Charlie Strong has been looked upon as far and away the most likely coach to replace Steve Kragthorpe at Louisville.

Based on a notice sent out by the school this afternoon, that likelihood has a very real chance of turning into reality Wednesday afternoon.

From the Louisville Courier-Journal:

The University of Louisville has announced that the Personnel Committee of the U of L Athletic Association Board of Directors will meet to discuss personnel matters at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

Translation?  The Florida defensive coordinator will be announced as the Cardinals’ new head coach sometime after 3:30 tomorrow afternoon.
