FSU hires other, other Stoops for DC job

Citing a source close to the hiring process, ESPN.com‘s ACC blogger Heather Dinch is reporting that new Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher has hired Mark Stoops as his new defensive coordinator.

Stoops, who held the same position on brother Mike Stoops‘ Arizona staff, will replace the retiring Mickey Andrews.

Mark Stoops had been considered the front runner for the head coaching vacancy at Div. 1-AA Youngstown State.
