Ohio State will be without at least two players when they take the field against Oregon in Pasadena, including the son of a school legend and NFL Hall of Famer.
According to Adam Rittenberg of ESPN.com‘s Big Ten blog, wide receiver Duron Carter and defensive end Rob Rose have been declared ineligible for the Rose Bowl.
Carter, the son of current ESPN NFL analyst Cris Carter, is currently third on the Buckeyes in receiving yardage, albeit with a scant 176 yards.
Ross had played in 11 games, while Carter had appeared in all 12.
The Buckeyes have yet to confirm the players will not be eligible.
