UT's Berry to announce intentions after bowl

Eric Berry has been one of the most decorated defensive players in college football during his three years at Tennessee, and has been very favorably compared to former Miami Hurricane and current Baltimore Raven great Ed Reed.

As he’s just a junior, Berry could conceivably return to Knoxville for another season in 2010.

That’s not expected, but, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel, you’ll have to wait for any type of official word.

According to the News Sentinel, Berry will make an announcement on his football future following Tennessee’s bowl game.  The Volunteers will play Virginia Tech in the Chick-fil-A Bowl on Dec. 31.

And, as a public service to our readers, here’s a brief preview of what Berry will utter after the bowl game: ”See ya, Vols.”

Anything else would be an upset of epic proportions.
