Jones taps CMU's staff to fill Cincy openings

As should be expected, Butch Jones‘ new coaching staff at Cincinnati will have a decidedly Central Michigan complexion to it.

According to a report on Rivals.com, Jones has named Mika Bajakian as his new offensive coordinator, while Tim Banks and John Jancek will share defensive coordinator duties.

Both Bajakian and Banks were on Jones’ Chippewas’ staff.

Jancek was one of three defensive coaches dismissed following the 2009 season by Georgia, where he had spent the past five years on Mark Richt’s staff.
