Bearcats bag Bajakian to orchestrate offense

In a move that makes too much sense on paper, new Cincinnati coach Butch Jones announced Tuesday that Mike Bajakian will coordinate the Bearcats’ offense in 2010.

Bajakian was Jones’ offensive play-caller at Central Michigan, where he helped develop quarterback Dan LeFevour into a two-time MAC Offensive Player of the Year.

Bajakian, who will also coach quarterbacks at UC, was a finalist for the Central Michigan head-coaching gig, but lost out to former Michigan State assistant Dan Enos.
