Kiffin can't land Buccaneers OC

Almost four weeks after suddenly bolting Tennessee for Southern Cal, Lane Kiffin is still in search of an offensive coordinator.

Part of the reason for the search being hamstrung a bit is the fact that Kiffin will be the play-caller for the Trojans, making the job slightly less enticing to someone who has been or aspires to be a full-blown coordinator.

With that in mind, Tom Dienhart of Rivals.com reports that Kiffin recently spoke with Tampa Bay Buccaneers coordinator Greg Olson about the Troy opening.

Following the meeting, which included defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, it was determined that Olson would remain in the NFL.

Dienhart also reports that another rumored candidate for the vacancy, Boise State coordinator Bryan Harsin, has not yet spoken to Kiffin about the vacancy.

Kiffy doesn’t need a OC. He can just call the plays himself. After all, he is a genius. The Trojan nation should not fret for the expert has landed…

Why hasn’t LanKiff called Jeff Jagodzinski? Or the Bills or Chiefs old O-co’s that were also fired at the same time?

Did you see the Bills and Chiefs play this year? That’s why!
