In 2008, Arthur Brown was one of the top — if not the top — linebacker recruit in the country.
Thus far, he has failed to live up to the immense hype heaped upon him after signing with Miami. And, according to a new report, he may now fail to finish his collegiate career where it started.
According to the Miami Herald, Brown is back home in Kansas and will not participate in spring practice.
Brown is not enrolled in classes this semester, although a university spokesman said that Brown had not yet officially requested to transfer.
If Brown does indeed decide to transfer from the ‘Canes, one potential landing spot to keep an eye on is Tennessee. Brown’s younger brother Bryce is a running back for the Volunteers, and the LB could ultimately decide to reunite with his brother in Knoxville.
