ESPN’s Bruce Feldman confirms that five-star linebacker Christian Jones has chosen to attend Florida State this fall.
Jones, out of Winter Park in Florida, picked the Seminoles over the Gators, Hurricanes, Notre Dame, and Lane Kiffin’s Trojans.
Jones’ father and big brother attended FSU, so his commitment to the school is not a surprise.
Jones goes 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds. He may be the immediate replacement for Dakoda Watson in the starting lineup. Watson is an NFL hopeful this April. Jones also has the ability to play strong safety and perhaps rush end, depending on how his body fills out.
